Best day so far!

July 7, 2013

Today we are starting early at 7:00 a.m. For touring, but that's okay because my current roommate Robyn and I have been up since 3:30 a.m., ode to the time change.

We will be touring the Qutab Minar, a tower built in 1193' and at its foot the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque.  It's head scarf, socks and slip on shoes today. We will also go to the Lotus Temple, a Bahai temple.  Then Humayun's Tomb, a garden tomb and the first substantial example of Mughal architecture in India, built in 1565. www.delhitourism.nic.in

We will have lunch at the Centre for Cultural Resource Training and we will actually be given some money to buy classroom resources there, http:ccrtindia.gov.in/.  After lunch we will meet three cultural artisans and create something with them.

MB I am glad my yoga class is not beside the street for viewing. I did not see the snakes until I enlarged the picture. Is there a third snake in the covered basket? Can you retain the enormous amount of information you are receiving plus what you are seeing? What an exciting experience and I hope you do not wear out your crossing guard.
