We left at 6:00 a.m. And gathered under the sacred Banyon tree for a talk by our friend Dr. V before trekking straight up to an old Jain abode on the hilltop. This was a group of Jain's who did not wear clothes at all and were asked by the local people to live on the hill. We picnicked in the shade on the western side of the hill.
After lunch we toured a Gandhi museum, I guess there is one in every state. It was of course a special place for a man with a powerful story. At the end of the museum there was a section on Gandhi and Martin Luther King, The American civil rights movement, and the final photo, our President Barack O'Bama. Photos that reflect the power of ideals.
After lunch we visited two Christian schools. One of 6000 girls and they all came out to meet us at once and it was definitely a "flash mob". The second school was on the same campus and was for about 1500 coed students.
