Dobi Ghat at Dawn!

This slum is called Dobi Ghat and this is the laundry for all of the hotels and more.  We took taxis at dawn to catch a glimpse of this work.  Each slum area is a community with a purpose.  The communities are often a particular religious group. The slum communities are lower classes obviously, but also related to caste even though caste is not allowed by the Indian constitution.  Mumbai, Maharashtra State July 16, 2013
