Arrival New Delhi July 4
We traveled for our 26 hours, 21 of it airtime. From Newark we logged 13,000 miles over the polar route: Scandinavia, Moscow, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Delhi airport. Our director traveled the whole route with us. Then we were met by our full-time guide and our air conditioned bus. We were greeted by about ten hotel staff, given sweet lime and water melon juice and room gifts. I think we are going to be really spoiled. This is amazing. It is after midnight on July 5th now, and we begin to roll at 6:00 a.m.
