7/10 Our Punjab Sikh Village
Today we felt like we were starring in a National Geographic Traveler episode. Our village includes 240 joint families (extended) with a total population of 15,000. We would call it a town, but in India this is small. At least 100 people escorted us through town. We enjoyed the martial arts exhibit put on by the school children. We were invited to the Mayor's home for tea and conversation.
